The Graveyard

Today, we walked about a mile to go see a cool graveyard which has a lot of famous people buried in it. There were a lot of people who had died in a war buried there, and it really shows how much damage fighting does. The graveyard also has a lot of very expensive looking graves, like little houses with stained glass windows. One grave had so many bunches of flowers on it that you couldn't even read the name of the person in it. It is to bad I didn't think to use my camera, otherwise I would have taken a picture. Then we walked back and stopped for ice cream. I didn't know French ice cream would taste so good! They must have put a lot of flavoring in it because it has a stronger taste than American ice cream. Overall, my day has been pretty good.

  3. My two bits of advice, having lived in Europe for a while, is don't miss home. Home is always there, and your friends will be doing exactly what they have always been doing. Nothing changes at home. Throw yourself into your french experience and don't look back.

Also, everyone wishes they could be doing what you're doing (at least I do) so live it up - for us.

Last- keep us posted if you find a french boyfriend. ;-)
